Electrochemical tester for recognising the most used stainless steel alloys (AISI 200-304-316-400). The tester exploits an electrolytic solution in combination with current in order to provide a color result on the blotting papers. This first step will help distinguishing from AISI 200 and 300, then for the AISI 300 family a Molybdenum reagent is used to have the final feedback between AISI 304 and 316. Very simple to use, small and portable. Perfect for testing incoming supplies or for testing residual cuttings of metal without the relevant marking.
